ABOUT ME

Jonas is a 3D generalist situated in Stockholm, Sweden.

 

From 2005 working under the name Cinemantica but since 2019 changed to the new name PixelPunk.
 
Ready to take on most things related to 3D for film, TV, games and apps. Working with 3d animation, compositing and visual effects vfx.

 

3D Artist and generalist with artistic background and 20 years of professional experience in the branch of 3D and animation and CG-graphics. Worked with motion graphics, architectural visualisation, games, AR, VR, apps, video, ad-campaigns, film, broadcast and lots more.

Specialties and technical mumbo-jumbo:
Animation, rigging, animating characters and creatures, facial anim and lip-syncing.
Modeling characters on paper, giving them life in the computer.
Advanced lighting, GI, HDRI and physical sky.
Material knowledge, PBR-materials, texture painting, texturing and mapping, UV-unwrap, texture baking and procedural mapping.
Rendering, multi-pass (.exr) for compostiting. Cycles, Vray, Corona, Octane etc.
Storyboarding, drawing, character development.
On-Set TD and 3D-tracking.
Comp preferably in Adobe AfterEffects with experience in Element 3D from VideoCoPilot.
Game graphics, 2d and 3d using Unity 3D.
AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) using Unity 3D (eager to learn Unreal Engine).

Preferred applications include (but are not limited to): 

Blender (Blender Foundation), AfterEffects, Photoshop (Adobe), Gimp, Inkscape (Software Freedom Conservancy), Substance Painter / Designer (Allegorithmic), Unity 3D (Unity Technologies), Element 3D (VideoCoPilot), 3DsMax (Autodesk).
